President Tokayev holds talks with President of Togolese Republic
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with President of Togolese Republic Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, who arrived in Kazakhstan for an official visit, according to the reports of the Akorda press service.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said greeting Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé that his historical visit to Kazakhstan marks a turning point in bilateral relations.
The Head of State said Kazakhstan is interested in promotion of all-round cooperation with Togo. On the eve of the visit, the Presidents had informal talks to debate the current opportunities of mutual interest for cooperation between the two nations.
The Kazakh President outlined the key areas the countries could focus on. The President said it is necessary to establish permanent dialogue to promote bilateral and international agenda.
In his turn, the President of Togo thanked the Head of State and the people of Kazakhstan for a warm welcome.
Following the talks the Presidents attended the expanded meeting with the participation the delegations.
