President Tokayev Meets with Qatari Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan held a meeting with Abdullah bin Hussein Al Jaber, the Ambassador of Qatar to Kazakhstan, as reported by Akorda.
During the talks, President Tokayev described Qatar as one of Kazakhstan’s closest partners, highlighting their shared goals and aspirations.
President Tokayev noted that in recent years, both countries have made significant progress on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues. They have established a solid legal framework and launched several major investment projects.
The Kazakh leader expressed his gratitude to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for his support and his personal participation in the upcoming SCO Summit in Astana as an honored guest.
Ambassador Al Jaber thanked President Tokayev for the warm welcome and reaffirmed Doha’s commitment to the progressive development of multifaceted cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions also covered current bilateral issues and explored prospects for cooperation in trade, economic matters, energy, and the health sector.
This meeting underscores the strong partnership between Kazakhstan and Qatar and their mutual commitment to further enhancing their collaborative efforts across various sectors.
