London, The Gulf Observer: His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, President of the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), led the Kingdom’s delegation to the Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) 2025, held on May 27–28 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, with the Saudi Ministry of Sports as a strategic partner, MESIF 2025 convened more than 300 high-level delegates from across the sports investment ecosystem, including representatives from sports ministries, sovereign wealth funds, and leading commercial stakeholders throughout the MENA region.

Accompanied by Ms. Shaima Saleh Al-Husseini, Managing Director of the SFA, Prince Khaled underscored the importance of MESIF as a collaborative platform, praising the forum’s organizers for enabling critical conversations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and broader regional networks.

“The Forum successfully brought together a wide spectrum of stakeholders across the sports and wellness sectors. These cross-sector dialogues are vital for shaping sustainable, inclusive sports ecosystems,” Prince Khaled remarked.

The SFA’s participation highlighted Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 commitment to fostering inclusive, community-centered sports culture as a key pillar of national development. Al-Husseini elaborated on this during a featured panel discussion, sharing insights into the Federation’s impact-driven strategy.

“Our approach is anchored in measurable outcomes,” said Al-Husseini. “We align our metrics with the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan and use a mix of national surveys, digital engagement tools, and community feedback to guide our interventions.”

She noted encouraging progress in increasing public physical activity levels, achieving greater gender equity in sports, and driving long-term behavior change through locally owned and evidence-based programs.

MESIF 2025 also explored a wide range of key themes, including sports finance, infrastructure development, innovation and technology, fan engagement, and the strategic intersection of sports and tourism.

The Saudi delegation’s presence at MESIF reflects the Kingdom’s growing leadership in global sports diplomacy and its ambition to become a regional and international hub for wellness, sports, and active living.
