Shusha, The Gulf Observer: A 50-member delegation of Azerbaijani religious figures from Türkiye, Georgia and Iraq has visited Garabagh as part of the “The Road to Victory: In the Footsteps of Victory” project, organised by the Foundation for Promotion of Moral Values.
As part of the visit, the delegation travelled to Shusha, Azerbaijan’s cultural capital, where the participants are exploring the city’s rich cultural and religious heritage, natural landscapes and ongoing restoration and reconstruction projects.
The programme includes visits to several historic mosques and the Molla Panah Vagif Museum-Mausoleum Complex, providing the delegation with an opportunity to learn more about Shusha’s historical and cultural significance.
The visitors are also scheduled to visit the Jidir Duzu plain, one of Shusha’s prominent natural landmarks, to view the city’s scenic surroundings.
The visit forms part of efforts to familiarise religious and community representatives from Azerbaijan and other countries with Garabagh’s cultural heritage and the ongoing restoration of its historical and religious sites.
