Russian and Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioners Establish Trust-Based Dialogue, Says Peskov

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova and Ukrainian Human Rights Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets have established constructive and trust-based relations, describing the development as an important step for humanitarian and human rights cooperation.
Speaking in an interview with Russia’s Vedomosti newspaper on Saturday, Peskov said the two officials had established a positive dialogue and were gradually developing mutual trust.
“They’ve established a good dialogue. This is very important. They are gradually beginning to trust each other. This is good for human rights work,” Peskov stated.
He underscored the importance of maintaining constructive communication and trust between the two human rights representatives, particularly in facilitating their work on humanitarian and human rights-related matters.
