“Samarkand – the Ornament of the Face of the Earth” album book wins Grand Prix

The Grand Prix was awarded to the album book “Samarkand – the Ornament of the Face of the Earth”, published by the publishing house “Manaviat” of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Bishkek hosted an International Book Fair, “In the footsteps of Chingiz Aitmatov”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the famous writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

It was attended by representatives of more than 200 publishing houses from the CIS countries and China.

Uzbekistan publishing houses presented over 200 books of 180 titles.

A book competition, “The Book Art” was organized. The Grand Prix was awarded to the album book “Samarkand – the Ornament of the Face of the Earth”, published by the publishing house “Manaviat” of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The circulation of the publication is 4000 copies.

In the album book, every tourist will find all the necessary information, complemented by colorful photographs and illustrations. Data in the publication is available in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
