Samarkand to become cultural capital of CIS in 2024
Bishkek, The Gulf Observer: At a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, held in Bishkek, it was decided that Samarkand in 2024 will become the cultural capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
On this occasion, in Saint Petersburg, the city government passed the relay to officials of the Samarkand Hokimiyat.
