Saudi Crown Prince, PM Shehbaz Sharif Hail US-Iran Ceasefire Deal, Pledge Stronger Saudi-Pak Ties

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Friday welcomed the agreement reached between the United States and Iran to end military operations during a telephone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, underscoring hopes for lasting peace and stability in the region.
At the beginning of the call, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his appreciation to the Crown Prince for Saudi Arabia’s efforts in supporting the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran aimed at ending hostilities.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the agreement and noted that it had been achieved through mediation efforts undertaken by Pakistan. He expressed the Kingdom’s hope that the understanding would pave the way for a permanent settlement that strengthens regional security and promotes long-term stability.
The two leaders also reviewed the strong and longstanding ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and discussed avenues for further enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
The conversation reflected the close partnership between the two countries and their shared commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives that contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
