Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Meets Thai Senate Speaker in Bangkok

Bangkok, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh met with Thailand’s Senate Speaker Mongkol Surasajja in Bangkok to discuss bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation.

Surasajja welcomed Al-Asheikh and his accompanying delegation, emphasizing the importance of fostering friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Thailand. He highlighted the significance of continued engagement between the two nations to strengthen diplomatic and legislative ties.

Al-Asheikh congratulated Surasajja on assuming his role as Senate Speaker, expressing his best wishes for success in his responsibilities. He also underscored the Kingdom’s significant developmental progress under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, commending the transformative impact of Saudi Vision 2030. The ambitious initiative, he noted, has driven economic diversification and sustainable growth across various sectors.

During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues to further enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in parliamentary affairs, in order to promote mutual interests and strengthen diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
