Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has reviewed its strategic roadmap for 2025–2027, outlining key initiatives to drive transformative improvements in performance, operations, and service excellence.

The strategy focuses on business sustainability and growth, anticipating future business trends, enhancing Sharjah’s economic landscape, and boosting competitiveness.

The discussions took place during SCCI’s second periodic board meeting for 2025, held at its headquarters and chaired by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Majid Faisal Khalid Al Qasemi, First Vice Chairman of SCCI, and Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, along with other board members and senior officials.

Key Objectives of the 2025–2027 Strategy

Strengthening Sharjah’s economic landscape
Promoting entrepreneurial excellence across commercial, industrial, professional, agricultural, and digital sectors
Enhancing global trade opportunities and supporting businesses in expanding internationally
Fostering innovation and sustainability, enabling investment-driven economic projects
Developing strategic partnerships to attract high-value investments

The board reviewed the Chamber’s initiatives and achievements in 2024, with a focus on enhancing services, optimizing institutional efficiency, and strengthening Sharjah’s investment ecosystem.

SCCI’s Commitment to Economic Growth

Chairman Abdallah Sultan Al Owais emphasized that the strategy aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. It aims to diversify Sharjah’s economy, enhance competitiveness, and attract investment to maintain its status as a key business hub.

Meanwhile, Director-General Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi highlighted SCCI’s achievements in 2024, including successful trade missions to Uganda and Kenya, business partnerships, and economic collaborations with international delegations.

The board also discussed plans to ensure the success of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, a major retail event that boosts local trade and attracts shoppers from across the UAE.

With its strategic vision for 2025–2027, SCCI remains committed to strengthening economic partnerships, supporting entrepreneurship, and advancing Sharjah’s global business standing.
