Türkiye’s President Erdogan to Visit Kazakhstan, Attend Turkic States Summit

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on May 13-14 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Akorda press service announced while outlining preparations for the upcoming high-level engagements.
According to the presidential press service, the two leaders are expected to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Türkiye during the visit.
The presidents will also hold the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, aimed at further strengthening political, economic, trade, and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
Following the state visit, another major regional event will take place in the city of Turkistan on May 15, where leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will gather for an Informal Summit.
Akorda also released footage showing preparations underway for the summit, which is expected to bring together heads of Turkic states to discuss regional cooperation and emerging global challenges.
The theme of this year’s Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States is “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development,” reflecting the growing focus of member states on technological innovation and digital transformation.
