Turkmen Ambassador to Hungary Strengthens Bilateral Ties

Budapest, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador Hemra Amannazarov, representing Turkmenistan to Hungary with residence in Vienna, conducted a series of negotiations in Budapest with key Hungarian officials, aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations.

During the meeting with Mate Vinca, Deputy Secretary of State of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Culture, a significant focus was placed on discussing the upcoming celebration of the 300th anniversary of the renowned Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Fragi. Additionally, talks centered around organizing the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Hungary later this year.

Vinca warmly welcomed the Turkmen delegation and extended an invitation to actively participate in the traditional August Kurultai festival. He also provided detailed information about the planned events for the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan. In response, Ambassador Amannazarov invited Hungarian representatives to engage actively in the cultural festivities in Turkmenistan commemorating Magtymguly Fragi’s 300th anniversary.

The discussions went beyond cultural aspects, covering trade, economic relations, and political dialogue between the two nations. In a separate meeting with Adam Stifter, Deputy Secretary of State of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, the parties explored avenues to broaden trade, economic, and cultural ties. Information exchange about upcoming events and preparations for political dialogues also took place.

Ambassador Amannazarov and Deputy Secretary Stifter delved into the potential for cooperation between Turkmenistan’s innovative city, Arkadag, and Hungarian cities. This collaborative effort will involve expert exchanges, invitations to exhibitions, and study tours, fostering mutual understanding and cultural enrichment.

These negotiations have laid a robust foundation for deepening ties between Turkmenistan and Hungary across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
