Turkmen President Congratulates Trump, American People on 250th U.S. Independence Anniversary

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended heartfelt congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States.

According to Turkmen state media on Saturday, President Berdimuhamedov conveyed his greetings on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, marking the historic milestone in U.S. history.

In his congratulatory message, the Turkmen leader underscored that Turkmenistan highly values its cooperation with the United States, describing bilateral relations as being based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.

President Berdimuhamedov also reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to further strengthening constructive dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial partnership with the United States in the interests of both nations and their peoples.

Concluding his message, the Turkmen President wished President Donald Trump good health, happiness and continued success, while extending his best wishes for peace, sustained progress and prosperity to the American people.

The United States celebrates Independence Day each year on July 4, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, which established the country as an independent nation. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the historic occasion.
