Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan FMs Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation at Antalya Diplomacy Forum

Antalya, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on April 18 on the sidelines of the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, underscoring that the strong ties are driven by regular and trust-based dialogue at the highest state level.

The ministers discussed key areas of political and diplomatic engagement, as well as preparations for upcoming international events scheduled in the coming months.

They also exchanged views on enhancing trade and economic relations, alongside strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to further deepen their multifaceted partnership through continued diplomatic engagement and practical collaboration.
