TURKPA Secretary General, TRNC Foreign Minister Discuss Cooperation at Antalya Diplomacy Forum

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Secretary General of TURKPA, Ambassador Ramil Hasan, held a meeting with Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, on April 18 on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026.

During the meeting, Minister Ertuğruloğlu expressed sincere appreciation for the comprehensive support extended by TURKPA to the TRNC, underscoring the importance of continued engagement within Turkic cooperation frameworks.

Ambassador Hasan, in turn, briefed the minister on TURKPA’s activities over the past six months and highlighted ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening parliamentary collaboration among member and observer states. He expressed hope that the active participation of the TRNC, which holds observer status in both the Organization of Turkic States and TURKPA, would continue to receive strong and consistent support.

The meeting also reaffirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation among Turkic institutions and fostering closer ties through dialogue and joint initiatives.

Ambassador Hasan was accompanied by his Deputy, Muhammet Alper Hayali, and Secretary of the Commission, Aynura Abutalibova.
