UAE and Cyprus Strengthen Ties in High-Level Diplomatic Meeting

Nicosia, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in Nicosia on Thursday. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Constantinos Kombos, the Cypriot Foreign Minister.

Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Cyprus and its people. He highlighted the strong and growing ties between the UAE and Cyprus.

President Christodoulides reciprocated the greetings and extended his best wishes for ongoing prosperity and growth for the UAE and its citizens. He affirmed the depth of the bilateral relationship, emphasizing the mutual respect and collaboration that characterize ties between the two nations.

The leaders discussed areas of cooperation and exchanged views on regional and international issues of shared interest, with particular focus on developments in the Middle East.

This high-level meeting reflects the commitment of both countries to enhancing diplomatic and strategic partnerships for mutual benefit.
