UAE and Mexico Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Mexico City, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, commenced his official working visit to Mexico with a meeting on Thursday in Mexico City with Juan Ramón de la Fuente, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States.
The two officials reviewed the distinguished relations between the UAE and Mexico and explored avenues to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors in line with their shared development goals. Discussions focused on enhancing partnerships in key areas including the economic, investment, and energy sectors.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s strong commitment to fostering robust and forward-looking cooperation with Mexico, grounded in the mutual aspirations of both countries for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on a range of regional and international developments. Both sides underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to support global peace and security.
Accompanying Sheikh Abdullah were H.E. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; H.E. Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; and H.E. Salem Rashed Alowais, UAE Ambassador to the United Mexican States.
The visit marks a significant step in advancing UAE-Mexico relations, highlighting the shared commitment of both nations to deepening diplomatic and economic engagement.
