UAE President Arrives in Jordan

Amman, The Gulf Observer: In a testament to the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Amman today on a fraternal visit.

Upon his arrival at the airport, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying high-level delegation were accorded a warm reception by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. The reception ceremony also saw the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prime Minister of Jordan, His Excellency Dr Bisher Hani Al Khasawneh, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, HE Dr Ayman Al Safadi, among other distinguished Jordanian officials.

The delegation accompanying President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan comprises notable figures, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor of Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, His Excellency Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, His Excellency Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority, and His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

The visit underscores the strong ties between the UAE and Jordan and serves as a platform for discussions on bilateral cooperation, regional developments, and shared interests. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit is anticipated to further enhance the strategic partnership between the two nations, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of their peoples.
