UAE President, Libyan Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Stability

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, head of Libya’s Government of National Unity, during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, where the two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Dbeibeh reviewed avenues to further enhance cooperation between the UAE and Libya in ways that serve their mutual interests and contribute to the prosperity and wellbeing of the peoples of both countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional issues, including the latest developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote lasting peace, security and stability across the region for the benefit of all its peoples.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to advancing constructive dialogue and expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

The discussions were attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, along with several senior officials.
