Fujian, The Gulf Observer: A delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Mahkamova took part in the China – Central Asia Forum in Fujian province.
The forum participants were informed about the priority areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, the ongoing work to protect the rights and interests of women, and the results of comprehensive reforms to reduce poverty.
Chairman of the Committee on Family and Women Ozoda Parpiboyeva took part in the “Women and Sustainable Development” session. During the visit, members of the delegation met with the Vice Chairwoman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the President of the All-China Women’s Federation Shen Yueyue, and the Party Secretary of Fujian Province Zhou Zuyi.
Guests got acquainted with the experience of caring for low-income families in Xiamen, reducing poverty, and providing employment for women at the Jinan Public Service Center.
