Uzbekistan Airways Announces Launch of Regular Direct Flights Between Tashkent and Islamabad

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan Airways has officially announced the launch of regular direct flights between Tashkent and Islamabad, marking a new milestone in the development of air connectivity and bilateral relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

This strategic initiative, spearheaded by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan and supported by the relevant governmental bodies of both nations, will see the national flag carrier operate weekly flights on the Tashkent–Islamabad–Tashkent route beginning June 14, 2025.

Flights will operate every Saturday using the comfortable Airbus A321 aircraft, with the following schedule (local time):

  • Departure from Tashkent: 08:50
  • Arrival in Islamabad: 10:50
  • Departure from Islamabad: 11:50
  • Arrival in Tashkent: 13:50

Beyond offering greater travel convenience, this new route is expected to foster enhanced cooperation in tourism, trade, investment, and cultural and humanitarian exchange between the two brotherly nations. It serves not only as a transportation link but as a symbolic bridge of friendship, trust, and mutual progress.
