Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Welcomes Luxembourg’s First Ambassador

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, warmly welcomed Tom Reisen, the first Ambassador of Luxembourg to Uzbekistan, in a meeting focused on expanding collaboration between the two nations. Minister Saidov expressed optimism about the potential for enhanced cooperation and congratulated Ambassador Reisen on his appointment, emphasizing that their foreign ministries would play a vital role in creating new opportunities for partnership.

The discussions covered a wide range of areas aimed at deepening bilateral relations, including enhancing business connections, facilitating trade, and strengthening the legal framework supporting the partnership. Both sides expressed their commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship and leveraging their diplomatic channels to open doors for new initiatives.

Uzbekistan and Luxembourg officially established diplomatic relations on June 10, 1992. With this new ambassadorial appointment, the two countries look forward to further advancing ties across various sectors, enhancing economic collaboration, and promoting cultural exchange.
