Saudi Crown Prince Reaffirms Support for Palestinian State

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering stance on the Palestinian issue, stating that Saudi Arabia will not recognize Israel without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Addressing the Shoura Council on Wednesday, the crown prince condemned the “crimes of the Israeli occupation” against the Palestinian people and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the creation of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

“The Kingdom will not stop its tireless work toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and we affirm that the Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that,” the crown prince said. He expressed gratitude to countries that have recognized Palestine and urged others to follow suit in support of international legitimacy.

The crown prince also addressed broader regional issues, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance peace and security. He highlighted the Kingdom’s diplomatic endeavors to resolve crises in Yemen, Sudan, Libya, and Ukraine through political solutions.

On domestic matters, the crown prince emphasized the achievements made under the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, describing it as a comprehensive framework that elevates the nation, benefits citizens, and safeguards future generations from economic fluctuations. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to modernization while preserving its cultural identity and values, which he described as a continuation of the legacy of Saudi ancestors.

“We are proceeding with optimism and confidence, according to a comprehensive and integrated approach based on careful review and prioritization,” the crown prince added, underscoring the Kingdom’s dedication to both progress and heritage.
