The UAE is attending as a guest country, reflecting its ongoing commitment to global initiatives addressing pressing global challenges.
Delivering the UAE’s address, Sheikh Khaled conveyed greetings from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the attending leaders, extending well wishes for a productive summit. He expressed gratitude to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for inviting the UAE and lauded Brazil’s leadership in hosting a successful summit.
Support for the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty
Sheikh Khaled commended the launch of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, emphasizing its pivotal role in addressing global challenges through sustainable solutions. He announced the UAE’s pledge of $100 million through the UAE Aid Agency to support the alliance, reinforcing the nation’s dedication to combating hunger and poverty at both regional and international levels.
“Our commitment to global partnerships and development initiatives underscores our vision for a more peaceful and prosperous world,” said Sheikh Khaled.
