President Tokayev Arrives in Qatar

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Qatar to participate in the Doha Forum, an influential international platform set to take place on December 7–8 in the Qatari capital. The President is scheduled to attend a panel session at the forum and engage in high-level discussions with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the heads of prominent companies.

The Doha Forum serves as a key venue for global dialogue on critical issues, including international cooperation, sustainable development, and the global economy. President Tokayev’s participation underscores Kazakhstan’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and contributing to global policy debates.

This visit follows Tokayev’s recent meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, where he expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince for their support in organizing the One Water Summit in Riyadh.

Jointly chaired by Kazakhstan and France, the summit highlighted pressing global environmental challenges. President Tokayev emphasized his confidence in the event’s contribution to advancing the global environmental agenda.

Kazakhstan’s participation in high-level international events like the Doha Forum reflects its proactive engagement in addressing regional and global issues, enhancing its role on the global stage.
