Israeli Air Strikes in Gaza Kill at Least 77 Palestinians Despite Ceasefire Agreement

Gaza, The Gulf Observer: Following the announcement of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, Israeli air strikes have killed at least 77 Palestinians across Gaza, including 25 women and 21 children, according to Gaza Civil Defence spokesman Mahmoud Basal.

The attacks, which occurred since Wednesday night, have also left over 250 people wounded. Basal stated that 66 of the victims were killed in Gaza City, four in central Gaza, and seven in southern Khan Younis city. He described the situation in Gaza as “extremely difficult, especially in Gaza City,” highlighting the toll on civilians, including women and children.

The escalation has raised concerns about the humanitarian impact on the region, as the civilian death toll continues to climb despite the efforts to broker a ceasefire.
