Türkiye Releases Book on President Erdogan’s Peace Diplomacy in Syria

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Türkiye’s Directorate of Communications has announced the publication of a new book titled “Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Peace Diplomacy: The Case of Syria,” which explores Türkiye’s diplomatic efforts in addressing the 13-year-long Syrian crisis.

Published in Turkish, Arabic, and English, the book highlights Türkiye’s role in advocating for peace, justice, and stability in Syria under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s leadership. It provides an in-depth analysis of Türkiye’s diplomatic initiatives, including its calls for a resolution based on peace, justice, and freedom, guided by the principle that “Syria belongs to the Syrians.”

Communications Director Fahrettin Altun shared the announcement on X on Thursday, emphasizing Türkiye’s unwavering commitment to Syria’s territorial integrity, political unity, and the right of the Syrian people to self-determination. He reiterated that Türkiye has consistently upheld the principles of truth and justice in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Since the outbreak of the conflict, Türkiye has adopted a human-centered approach, providing refuge to millions of displaced Syrians while actively countering terrorist threats and external interventions that undermine Syria’s sovereignty. The book details Türkiye’s diplomatic engagements, mediation efforts, and humanitarian assistance, underscoring its significant role in shaping regional stability.

By publishing this work, the Directorate of Communications aims to shed light on Türkiye’s contributions to resolving the Syrian crisis and reaffirm its position as a key actor in both regional and global diplomacy.
