Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On 21st March 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) visited National Language Promotion Department, National Heritage & Culture Division, Government of Pakistan and met with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, Director General, National Language Promotion Department, Islamabad.

During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram commended Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar for his exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the promotion and development of national languages in Pakistan. He acknowledged Dr. Mazhar’s significant contributions to linguistic policies and his efforts in fostering the utilization of national languages across various sectors of society.

The Director General, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, expressed his admiration for the significant work being done by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram in advocating for the concept of a community with a shared future. This concept emphasizes the importance of inclusive cooperation and mutual respect among diverse groups.

Furthermore, they discussed various avenues for collaboration between their respective organizations. Both agreed to organize joint events, conferences, and seminars aimed at enhancing cultural exchange and promoting the use of national languages. They emphasized the importance of building bridges through shared cultural initiatives and educational programs.

In the end Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar presented Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram with a collection of new publications from the National Language Promotion Department, National Heritage & Culture Division, Government of Pakistan.
