Azerbaijan Crowned Champion of Minifootball World Championship in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The winner of the Minifootball World Championship 2025, hosted in the Azerbaijani capital, has officially been determined. In a thrilling final match held at the National Gymnastics Arena, the national team of Azerbaijan secured a historic 4–2 victory over Hungary, clinching the world title for the first time.
The highly anticipated final saw goals from Tamkin Kalilzade, Mahammad Khalilov, and a brace by Ravan Karimov, sealing Azerbaijan’s triumphant performance under the leadership of head coach Elshad Guliyev. The victory marks a landmark achievement for Azerbaijani minifootball on the global stage.
