Oman Strongly Condemns Israeli Aggression Against Gaza, Calls for International Action

Oman

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip, including the latest deliberate targeting of medical, relief, and media personnel at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis — an act described as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, the Foreign Ministry of Oman reiterated its call on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take decisive measures to protect civilians, put an end to these grave violations, and uphold the principles of international law.

The Sultanate emphasized that justice for the Palestinian people can only be achieved by ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and enabling the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights. It highlighted that foremost among these rights is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds A’Sharqiyah (East Jerusalem) as its capital, in accordance with internationally recognized resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
