President Pezeshkian: Iran Will Pursue Path of Dignity, Steadfastness, and Self-Reliance
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to a path of steadfastness, dignity, and self-reliance, emphasizing that the country will rely on its people’s capabilities to move toward a bright future.
Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Sunday evening, the president reviewed the outcomes of his recent trip to New York, where he held meetings with officials from various countries. He described the visit as an opportunity to advance Iran’s agenda and strengthen its international engagements.
Pezeshkian denounced what he called the “unreasonable and aggressive behavior” of the United States toward the Islamic Republic, particularly in relation to efforts to reach a fair resolution on the nuclear issue. Quoting the Holy Quran, he stressed: “Those who break covenants and act as bullies will never be satisfied with us unless we surrender to their demands. This scenario will never happen.”
The president underlined that his administration has undertaken comprehensive planning to address challenges and ensure stability, while prioritizing the well-being and livelihoods of the Iranian people.
Highlighting the nation’s pursuit of independence and dignity, Pezeshkian said Iran would always choose the path of resilience and reliance on its own strengths over submission to external pressure.
He further emphasized that through Iran’s constructive relations with neighboring countries, adversaries will not succeed in realizing their objectives or undermining the country’s stability.
