President Aliyev Approves Azerbaijan-Algeria Agreement on Bilateral Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the “Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation” between the governments of Azerbaijan and Algeria, Azerbaijani officials reported.
According to the decree, once the agreement comes into force, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan will oversee the implementation of its provisions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify the Algerian government upon completion of the internal procedures required for the agreement’s entry into force.
The agreement was initially signed on November 4, 2025, in Algiers during a meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf. The accord aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, economics, science, and technology.
