Oman and UAE Hold Consular Consultations in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates held a consular consultation meeting in Abu Dhabi, reaffirming their strong fraternal ties and shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in consular affairs.

The Omani delegation was headed by Khalid Hashil Al Musalhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, while the UAE delegation was led by Omar bin Obaid Al-Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of consular cooperation and explored ways to further develop and improve consular services. Discussions also focused on mechanisms to monitor the implementation of joint initiatives and ensure their effective execution.

Both delegations emphasized the importance of continued coordination, consultation, and the exchange of expertise to enhance the efficiency and quality of consular services provided to citizens of both countries.

The meeting underscored the depth of Oman–UAE relations and reflected the two countries’ ongoing commitment to expanding joint cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations and their peoples.
