Oman, Switzerland Review Progress of Iranian–American Talks During Ministerial Call
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, held a telephone conversation with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, to discuss ongoing diplomatic efforts related to Iranian–American negotiations.
During the call, Al Busaidi expressed appreciation for Switzerland’s role in facilitating logistical arrangements and providing a conducive environment for consultations and meetings connected to the negotiations, which are being mediated by Oman in Switzerland.
The two ministers reviewed the progress of the mediation efforts and exchanged views on advancing shared objectives aimed at ensuring the success of the diplomatic process.
They also commended the strong spirit of cooperation between Oman and Switzerland, reaffirming their commitment to continued coordination and joint action in support of mutual interests, regional stability, and enhanced security.
