Azerbaijan President Awards “Istiglal” Order to Jamil Aliyev for Contributions to Medical Science
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has awarded the prestigious “Istiglal” Order to prominent medical scientist Jamil Aziz oglu Aliyev in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of medical science and healthcare in the country.
The award was conferred in accordance with Clause 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, underscoring the state’s acknowledgment of exceptional service in advancing national healthcare and scientific progress.
President Ilham Aliyev signed the decree in Baku on March 29, 2026, highlighting Jamil Aliyev’s significant role in strengthening Azerbaijan’s medical sector and promoting innovation in healthcare.
The “Istiglal” Order is among Azerbaijan’s highest state honors, awarded to individuals for distinguished achievements and exceptional service to the nation.
