UAE President, Kurdistan Region Leader Discuss Expanding Cooperation and Regional Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, for talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing regional developments.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, and explored avenues to expand cooperation in ways that serve mutual interests and contribute to the prosperity of both peoples.
Discussions also covered a range of regional and international issues of shared concern, with particular emphasis on recent developments and their implications for regional and global security and stability.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, and a number of other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
The meeting reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to strengthening partnerships across the region and enhancing dialogue on key issues impacting stability and development.
