Tajik President Emomali Rahmon Embarks on State Visit to China

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon departed on May 11 for a state visit to the People’s Republic of China.
At Dushanbe International Airport, President Rahmon was seen off by senior state officials, including the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan, the Speaker of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, the First Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President, and other government representatives.
During the visit, President Rahmon is being accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Assistant to the President for Foreign Relations, and the heads of several relevant ministries and departments.
The state visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and China across various sectors of mutual interest.
