Mohammed bin Salman Hosts Annual Reception for Hajj Delegations in Mina

Mina, The Gulf Observer: On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, Mohammed bin Salman hosted the annual reception for Muslim leaders, heads of delegations, and the King’s guests for this year’s Hajj at the Royal Court of Mina Palace on Thursday.

The reception was attended by a number of prominent Islamic figures, guests of government agencies, and heads of Hajj affairs offices who performed Hajj this year.

Among the distinguished attendees were Mostafa Madbouly, Bayram Begay, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, Cevdet Yılmaz, Hussain Mohamed Latheef, Mokhtar Ould Djay, and Amadou Oury Bah.

Addressing the gathering, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the guests on behalf of King Salman and extended Eid Al-Adha greetings to Muslims around the world, praying for peace, goodness, and prosperity for the Islamic Ummah.

The Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia is honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites, reaffirming the Kingdom’s continued commitment to caring for pilgrims and visitors in line with the longstanding efforts of Saudi leadership since the era of King Abdulaziz.

He also prayed for the acceptance of pilgrims’ Hajj and good deeds, their safe return to their homelands, and the continued security and prosperity of Muslim nations.

During the ceremony, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah highlighted the extensive preparations and efforts undertaken for this year’s Hajj season under the supervision of King Salman and with the direct support and follow-up of the Crown Prince.

Speeches were also delivered on behalf of the Muslim World League by Mabrouk Zaid Al-Khair, and on behalf of the heads of Hajj Affairs Offices by Abdeljabbar Rachidi.
