President Aliyev Reaffirms Azerbaijan’s Commitment to Expanding Cooperation with Central Asia

Cholpon-Ata, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Central Asian nations during an informal meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
Addressing the gathering, President Aliyev underscored Azerbaijan’s determination to play an active role in the consultative format, emphasizing that Baku remains committed to deepening regional collaboration and fostering closer ties among the countries and their peoples.
“I want to assure you that Azerbaijan will be an active member of the consultative format and will, for its part, make every effort to further expand cooperation and bring our countries and peoples even closer together,” President Aliyev said.
The Azerbaijani leader noted that enhanced regional cooperation would contribute to greater connectivity, mutual prosperity, and stronger political and economic partnerships across the region.
The informal meeting brought together the leaders of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian states to discuss key regional priorities and explore avenues for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
