Ilham Aliyev Approves 258 Million Manats for Nakhchivan’s Socio-Economic Development

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order allocating 258 million manats to accelerate the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the Order, the allocated funds will support measures aimed at expanding the use of alternative and renewable energy sources, upgrading road, transport and education infrastructure, and continuing landscaping and construction projects across the autonomous republic during 2026-2027.
The initiative is part of the Azerbaijani government’s efforts to strengthen infrastructure, promote sustainable development and improve socio-economic conditions in Nakhchivan.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have been instructed to take the necessary measures to address matters arising from the Order.
