Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Deliver General Lesson for Turkmen Youth on September 2
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will deliver a general lesson for Turkmen youth, students and schoolchildren on September 2 at the Ruhyyet Palace in Arkadag city.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced this during a Cabinet meeting held via videoconference on Friday, according to Turkmen state media.
During the meeting, the President highlighted preparations for Knowledge and Student Youth Day, which will be celebrated across Turkmenistan on September 1, coinciding with the beginning of the new academic year.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that new building complexes of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in Ashgabat and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute in Turkmenabat will be officially inaugurated on September 1.
Several new schools and kindergartens across the country are also scheduled to be opened as part of the celebrations.
The Head of State instructed relevant officials to organize commemorative and educational events at higher education institutions on September 1 in connection with Knowledge and Student Youth Day.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to modernize the national education system and ensure that the younger generation receives high-quality, modern education.
He also congratulated the participants of the Cabinet meeting, education workers and young people on Knowledge and Student Youth Day and the start of the new academic year, reaffirming the country’s commitment to further developing education and creating modern learning opportunities for young people.
