Sultan Haitham Inaugurates New Internal Security Service Headquarters in Dhofar Governorate

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has inaugurated the new headquarters of the Internal Security Service in Dhofar Governorate.

Upon the arrival of His Majesty’s motorcade, he was received by the Lieutenant General, Head of the Internal Security Service, along with a number of senior officers of the Service.

His Majesty unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the official inauguration of the new headquarters.

During his visit, His Majesty toured the facility and inspected its various facilities and capabilities. He was briefed on the key national duties and responsibilities entrusted to the Internal Security Service in strengthening the foundations of security and stability.

His Majesty commended the Service’s continued efforts in modernisation and development, as well as its efforts to keep pace with emerging challenges across various areas of security work.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Majesty posed for commemorative photographs with a number of the Service’s personnel, marking the occasion.
