Turkmenistan Participates in International Space Summit in Paris

Paris, The Gulf Observer: The Turkmenhemrasy Close Joint Stock Company of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency of Turkmenistan participated in the International Space Summit held in Paris, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France reported.
Batyr Orazdurdyyev, Director of Turkmenhemrasy CJSC and the national authority responsible for the development and implementation of Turkmenistan’s space activities, represented the country as part of the Turkmen delegation.
The International Space Summit was held in Paris on September 9–10, bringing together nearly 2,000 participants from various countries and international organizations, as well as representatives of the space industry, scientific community and investment sector.
On the first day, participants held roundtable discussions and parallel sessions addressing key issues related to ensuring global access to space, the development of space infrastructure and industrial production, and the application of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in the space sector.
The discussions also focused on the training of qualified specialists for the space industry and strengthening international cooperation in Earth and ocean observation.
Turkmenistan’s participation in the summit provided an opportunity to engage in discussions on contemporary developments in the global space sector and explore avenues for expanding international cooperation in space-related activities.
