Saudi Arabia, Austria Discuss Expanding Energy and Industrial Cooperation

Vienna, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman met with Austria’s Federal Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer in Vienna on Monday to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy and industrial sectors.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed opportunities to further enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Austria in energy and industry, as well as ways to deepen collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

The discussions also covered a number of issues of common concern, reflecting the two countries’ interest in expanding bilateral economic and sectoral cooperation.
