Uzbek FM holds talks with Wang Yi in Tashkent

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held negotiations with the Politburo member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the office of the foreign affairs commission of the CPC Central Committee and the former Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Tashkent.

On the way to Europe, the airplane of Wang Yi made a stop in Tashkent due to technical reasons, according to media reports.

Reportedly, the parties held talks and highly valued the Chinese-Uzbek friendship ties, exchanged views on further plan for meetings between the two countries.

They unanimously agreed to jointly implement the important agreements of the heads of the two states, promote the Uzbek-Chinese comprehensive, mutually beneficial cooperation and cooperation between China and Central Asia, and jointly protect peace and stability in the region.
