Cuban president officially welcomes Raisi in Havana
Havana, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was accorded warm welcome by his Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel in Havana on Thursday morning local time.
President Raisi arrived in the Cuban capital as the last leg of his five-day tour of Latin America.
In the welcoming ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were played and the two presidents reviewed the guard of honor.
A meeting of the two presidents as well as a meeting of the top-ranking delegations of Iran and Cuba are due shortly.
