Qatari Amir holds meeting with President of Hungary
Budapest, The Gulf Observer: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a meeting with President of Hungary HE Katalin Novak on Monday morning at the Sandor Presidential Palace in Budapest.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the President welcomed HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation, wishing that His Highness’ visit would contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries. She also expressed her congratulations to His Highness and the State of Qatar for the distinguished hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks to HE the Hungarian President for the good reception and the generous hospitality. His Highness expressed his aspiration to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, especially energy, economy, and investment. His Highness also invited Her Excellency to visit Doha.
During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing and advancing them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on several regional and international developments.
A number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness attended the meeting. Also, several senior Hungarian officials attended the meeting.
HH the Amir was accorded an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace.
