Faleh Al Hajri named Editor-in-Chief of Al Arab newspaper

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq Media Group, issued a decision appointing Faleh Hussein Al Hajri as Editor-in-Chief of Al Arab newspaper, one of the newspapers of Dar Al Sharq Group.

Faleh Al Hajri obtained his Master’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and a BA in Journalism from Qatar University.

Faleh has a great deal of work experience in the field of journalism. He previously held the position of Editor-in-Chief of Doha Magazine and Deputy Editor-in-Chief Al Sharq newspaper, and Editor-in-Chief of Al Rayyan magazine. He previously worked at the Publications and Translation Department, as well as the Heritage and Identity Department at the Ministry of Culture.

In addition to his work in the External Information Agency, he assumed a number of positions in the Ministry of Culture, and completed a number of media and administrative courses and took part in multiple media events. He is also enlisted to teach media courses at Qatar University in next semester, Fall 2023.
