Global Forum of Interparliamentary Cooperation begins in Tashkent
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The 2nd Global Forum of Interparliamentary Cooperation in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals began at the Palace of Forums “Uzbekistan”.
It is attended by representatives of almost 100 parliaments, international interparliamentary organizations, the media, and foreign experts.
The forum will include a discussion of the UN General Assembly’s draft resolution on expanding civil society’s participation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The Tashkent Communiqué is expected to be adopted.
