“Discover Oman” Triumphs as a Resounding Success at Berlin International Tourism Exhibition

Berlin, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), successfully concluded its participation as an official partner in the Bursa Berlin International Tourism Exhibition, showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage and vast tourism potential under the theme “Discover Oman” during the 24th session.
A highlight of the event was the signing of several agreements aimed at bolstering efforts to attract a greater number of tourists to the Sultanate. The agreements mark a significant step forward in Oman’s strategic initiatives to promote its unique offerings in the global tourism market.
His Excellency Sayyed Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, graced the occasion with a visit to the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at the Berlin International Tourism Exhibition. During his visit, he was apprised of the pavilion’s role in introducing the diverse tourism potential across the Sultanate’s governorates, emphasizing the rich natural and biological diversity, various sporting activities, traditional arts and crafts, and the authentic traditions of Omani civilization.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also took the opportunity to delve into the investment opportunities within the tourism sector. He highlighted the Sultanate’s commitment and openness to diverse investments and partnerships, underscoring the cultural, economic, and humanitarian significance of the tourism sector.
The Sultanate of Oman’s presence at the Bursa Berlin International Tourism Exhibition reflects its dedication to showcasing its unique identity and fostering global collaboration. As a result of the fruitful participation, Oman stands poised to attract an even greater influx of tourists, bolstering its position as a premier destination on the international tourism map.
